I have a KSM90WH 4-1/2 quart KitchenAid stand mixer, and this cover (I got it in khaki with black trim) fits over it very nicely. It touches the counter with about 1″ still left on top, and it completely fits comfortably around the mixer with the bowl still attached (not tight at all).
The pocket on the side is great to keep clipped-out recipes in, and it is very deep. It is about 6″ deep, probably.
I have my mixer on the counter in a little nook between my oven and a cabinet that it happens to fit perfectly in, so when I put the dough hook in the side pocket, I have to leave the top out of the pocket or else it won’t all fit in the nook. If you have your stand mixer out in a more free area of the counter, this shouldn’t be an issue.
The attachments in the pocket do not make the cover tighter on the mixer, either, which is great.
The inside of the cover is soft, almost velvety, and the cover is machine washable (cold water, like colors, tumble dry low).
I am very pleased with this product. It comes in a few different colors so you can match your kitchen/decor. I recommend this product, for sure.

You’d be surprised how some companies can mess up something as simple as a cover for a kitchen mixer. Thankfully KitchenAid know their stuff and have created an attractive, useful cover that is easy to remove.

The cover is real thick and makes a good cover for the 6 QT KitchenAid Mixer. The only problem I see with the Cover is it is a little short as to the cover to the counter it sets on. Not much to say - this cover works as designed and the pockets are great for attachments and an occasional recipe. t works great to keep dust off my mixer as it doesn’t get used every day. I’m happy with it!

I have the red cover for my 6 qt pro mixer. I keep all of my attachments including the pour shield INSIDE the mixer. The cover fits over the mixer with a bit of room to spare in girth, but leaves about 1/2″ inch of the base exposed.
If I could find a cover that would completely cover my mixer, I’d buy it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, I haven’t found that cover. It’s a good thing I like the Cinnamon color of my mixer!
The cover is very well made of heavy fabric and good, even stitching. I like the outside pocket on this cover. I keep my favorite spatula, a thermometer and some reference cards in there.
The cover washes well BY HAND, in COLD water, with Woolite. No fading or shrinking. I just kind of block and shape it over the mixer as it dries. I know others who machine wash theirs, but given the tight fit on the 6 qt models I didn’t want to take a chance on any more shrinkage.
If anyone else finds a better cover for the 6 qt, I sure hope they share the info!
